Sometimes I think being a stay-at-home mom is dull and that I’ve lost my edge. I romanticize activities of times past, like hitchhiking, tattooing myself, and sneaking backstage at punk shows. I no longer drink, but I have a toddler, a pool, and a dog that weighs more than I do to work with. Left unattended for two minutes, what could be edgier than that?
