In 2007, before Tyler Okonma was even legally allowed to vote, he co-founded the hip-hop collective Odd Future, in Los Angeles. Fifteen years later, Tyler, the Creator (as he’s better known) has released six solo studio albums, won two Grammys for Best Rap Album (for 2019’s Igor and 2021’s Call Me If You Get Lost), created a musical festival (2019’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival), and turned his talents to fashion. Odd Future makes streetwear, such as hoodies and T-shirts with graphic designs of donuts that spell out O.F. In December, a few months before he started a world tour, he launched a high-fashion line, Golf le Fleur. He designs everything, from the mohair sweaters to the embossed top-handle attachés and the hair picks, and people are loving it, as evidenced by the line’s brisk sales at retailers such as Neiman Marcus. Herewith, he shares his key components to the good life. —Jensen Davis
