Coola Lipstick

After noticing a few new freckles on her lips, your Air Mail style correspondent picked up a tube of Coola Mineral Liplux Organic Tinted Lip Balm. Not to brag, but it might have been the most inspired beauty find of the season. Infused with mineral sunscreen to the tune of S.P.F. 30, it glides on easily, quenches the skin, and bestows a bold but not overpowering shade of “Firecracker” (or any of the seven additional shades). We like ours so much that we continue to use it daily, even after we accidentally ran over it with the car. Long story. ($18, coola.com)

Pour

Lobmeyr Glass Pitcher

Even good old tap water is transformed into something elegant when the right tableware is involved. For summer entertaining, eschew your go-to glass pitcher (wedding-gift alert!) in favor of Lobmeyr’s elegant upgrade. Mouth-blown from Persian glass, it’s adorned with colorful, hand-painted flowers and birds. Present this as a gift to any weekend hostess this summer, and consider your next invitation guaranteed. ($500, modaoperandi.com)

Wear

Hawaiian Shirt

Right now, 90 percent of the vacationing masses are likely wearing a Breton stripe. We’re as susceptible to it as the next babe in Biarritz, but eventually fatigue sets in. Enter the Hawaiian shirt, the grandfatherly staple that well-dressed gents and party guys of all ages brought back into style a few years ago (though today they sometimes refer to it as a “floral print”). Now, thanks to RE/DONE, women can find their own version, which benefits from a slim fit, slightly cropped silhouette, and festive print. Ideal for running around town or, better yet, knotted and sported over a swimsuit. ($295, barneys.com)

Wear

John Lock

Around the Air Mail offices, we’ve gotten a refreshing style seminar on the best summer hats for a man, courtesy of one of our deputy editors, George Kalogerakis. This is among our favorites: the Napoli, from Lock & Co. A few shades darker than most straw numbers, it’s a hat that looks right no matter where you are, whether you’re sweating it out on a Madison Avenue commute or blissfully bobbing on a boat off the rugged coast of Mallorca. ($320, lockhatters.co.uk)

Shop

Pippa Holt Caftan

Before thinking too deeply about the price point of a Pippa Holt No. 72 caftan, a few considerations. First, Holt was a stylist at British Vogue before launching her eponymous collection, in 2016. Secondly, she enlists artisans in rural Mexico to craft each piece by hand using the ancient art of backstrap weaving. (This process takes approximately one month.) And finally, Holt’s caftans are destined to be the best-looking things on any beach—no offense to your swimsuit, of course. ($980, pippaholt.com)
