Growing up with a fair-skinned, physician father—and now working with AIR MAIL beauty editors Ashley Baker and Linda Wells—I’ve been taught that sun protection is everything. I never skip S.P.F. And on top of that, I wear hats—straw, baseball, bucket, rain, you name it. But finding a hat that is practical for the beach, fashionable enough to wear in the city, and easy to pack is a struggle. Le Voyage en Panier, a Provence-based brand I stumbled upon in a quaint French concept store on a Greek isle, creates a variety of beautiful hand-crocheted raffia hats. With soft crowns and brims and weightless material, they are perfect for travel and everyday use this summer. ($43, levoyageenpanier.fr) —Gracie Wiener

All My Love
We’re not used to spending $179 on an evening look, but trust us: it feels good. The long-sleeved soft jersey Sammy dress from All My Love is not too complicated, despite its open back, but therein lies its appeal. It’s easy to pack, looks great with any and every accessory, and doesn’t cry out for an Instagram mention. This well-priced line of stylish basics, designed by Georgie Dorfman in Los Angeles, has a lot to love. Her casual cashmere pants and slightly cropped knits are just the sort of pieces that, when seen on half of the clientele at Moon Juice, make New Yorkers think seriously about relocating to Venice Beach. La Prairie x Gurney’s
Are the crowds in Montauk giving you stress face? La Prairie has a solution for that. The Swiss skin-care experts are popping up at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa through August 31. In their ocean-view treatment suite, they offer two signature facials. The Summer Glow Personalized Facial includes a detailed analysis and full battery of cleansers, exfoliators, serums, moisturizers, and masks. The Sculpt & Contour treatment does all that and more, using radiofrequency and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) technology to help firm, lift, and contour. (The hero product here is La Prairie’s new Skin Caviar Hydro Emulsion, a lightweight fluid moisturizer.) Book in for a facial and enjoy the entire afternoon at the spa, enjoying the ocean pools, baths, and relaxation spaces. So much better than braving the traffic on Montauk Highway! Jane Again Cashmeres
The hunt for the perfect cotton T-shirt usually turns up a host of usual suspects—Gap, Uniqlo, maybe Leset if you’re feeling fancy or Khaite if you’re reckless. But I’d put money (“I can afford Khaite T-shirts”-type money) on the fact that no brand can top the tops made by Jane Again Cashmeres. The small-scale, Italian-made, and Paris-based business is the brainchild of Jane Cattani—a fashion model turned magazine editor. And while her cashmere sweaters are best in class, it’s her 100 percent cotton knit tees that I actively hoard. I’ll never miss an opportunity to stock up on the boatnecked, cap-sleeved Capri tee or its low-backed sister, the Torino. Now Jane Again Cashmere has created a special capsule collection of my beloved shirts in collaboration with the Senegalese non-for-profit CSAO (Compagnie du Sénégal et de l’Afrique de l’Ouest), which helps give local women in vulnerable situations financial independence. Each is hand-embroidered in Senegal, with sweet designs like flowers, hearts, and French sayings. Très jolie! ($234, janeagaincashmeres.com) —Clara Molot

Dine
Comal
Mourners of Gem Wine (R.I.P.), rejoice. The Lower East Side location is now home to Comal—a new, eclectic Mexican restaurant from chef Gaz Herbert, a Cuernavaca native—and the same downtown crowd seems to have found its merry way there. Herbert cut his teeth at London’s River Cafe and New York’s Jupiter, and these influences are unmistakably pressed upon his transcendentally good menu. I cannot recommend asking for the check without ordering their soft serve first. Go for swirl. (comal-nyc.com) —Victoria Herman

Bugaboo
There are strollers that collapse. And then there’s the Bugaboo Butterfly 2, which practically floats. Used on a recent trip, it navigated cobblestones, T.S.A., and fit in the overhead bin—all with zero rage incidents. It steers like a real stroller (you’d be shocked how many don’t) and folds up with one hand—even your less dominant one—while you’re carrying a squirmy, wet-noodle toddler in the other, making you look like you have your life together. Light, reliable, and easy to use—if you’re thinking about baby-shower gifts, this is the one new parents didn’t know they needed until they did. ($599, bugaboo.com) —Jen Noyes
