A California native, Adam Scott graduated from drama school in Los Angeles and was off to the races. His early roles were largely dramatic, breaking through in Hellraiser: Bloodline before joining the likes of Morgan Freeman in High Crimes and Leonardo DiCaprio in The Aviator. It wasn’t until the late aughts that Scott demonstrated the breadth of his range: he paired up with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in the comedy classic Step Brothers, and soon after jumped to television for the ever re-watchable Parks and Recreation. If the success of the science-fiction thriller Severance is any indication, Scott can evidently act in any way and play anyone, and now he takes a dive into the Marvel Universe alongside co-stars Sydney Sweeney and Dakota Johnson in Madame Web, which premieres on February 14. Herewith, he shares his key components to the good life. —Jack Sullivan
