When a girlboss tech C.F.O., a listicle writer, a trio of disaffected teens, a finance bro, and a mysterious mourner arrive at an off-the-radar Hawaiian resort, antics will ensue. Especially when the staff of the White Lotus (the name of both the hotel and the show) is just as intriguing and unpredictable as its guests. Mike White’s new satirical limited series for HBO Max is a feast for the eyes as well, thanks to production design from Laura Fox and costumes by Alex Bovaird.

A few looks, in particular, stand out: the poolside ensembles of luxury addicts Olivia (Sydney Sweeney) and Paula (Brittany O’Grady), the sporty prepster uniforms seen on relentless gamer Quinn (Fred Hechinger), and the moneyed bohemian vibe of Tanya, captured to perfection by Jennifer Coolidge. And there’s no need to go to Hawaii—or dabble in murder—to get in on the action.
