The Blouse

Sézane

Some of us in the Air Mail–verse swear by Sézane designer Morgane Sezalory’s well-fitting pants. There’s only one tiny problem: the best ones sell out almost immediately. But we’re just as charmed by the brand’s easy but non-boring blouses, especially for spring. An early winner is the flattering Pauletta style, whose high neck and longish sleeves counteract the guipure lace’s peekaboo effect. Oh sure, we love it solo with jeans or a slightly A-line skirt, but it’s especially fetching under a trim Blazé Milano blazer. ($125, sezane.com)

The Blush

Hermès

If your complexion is showing few signs of life, we know which global pandemic is to blame. Ever prescient Hermès has come to our rescue with the new Rose Silky Blush Powder. Inspired by the feel of silk twill, this long-lasting formula is semi-matte but far from sticky. And thanks to a well-made case that can be re-filled, it’s both lovely and environmentally friendly. The Sneakers

Ermenegildo Zegna

Gentlemen—while we appreciate your loyalty to the lace-ups you wore to oblivion last season, it’s time to call in some reinforcements on the sneaker front. Good thing Zegna has re-introduced its beloved Triple Stitch style with an ultra-lightweight and flexible outsole, and in a beautiful array of suede colors of red, gray, brown, and caramel. Easy to slip on and off, they offer maximum comfort. And the look of them? Streamlined and smart. An entirely worthy upgrade. ($675, saksfifthavenue.com)

The Sunglasses

Chimi

Sadly, we won’t be headed to Stockholm anytime soon. The good news? Chimi—our favorite Swedish eyewear company—has a Web site that is an embarrassment of riches. Ideal for the fickle fashionista who prefers to match her sunglasses to her look du moment, the brand specializes in timeless styles that benefit from cleverly colored lenses and frames. We love the #107, which is square without overwhelming the face. Made of glossy green and brown acetate, it’s more interesting than the industry standard. There’s also an abundance of predictable color palettes, for traditional types. And at these prices, why not try a few versions? ($99, chimieyewear.com)
