We first encountered the work of young English designer Hannah Weiland through her Technicolor faux-fur jackets, which were a hallmark of her early Shrimps collections. To the delight of many, she has since expanded her range to include a full assortment of ready-to-wear, but it’s in the realm of knits where she excels. Take this baby-blue Bennett cardigan, knitted from chunky wool in a zigzag pattern and embroidered with orange flowers. Pair with straight-leg cream-colored jeans, or toss over an eccentric floral dress for a bit of pizzazz. ($550, matchesfashion.com)
The Bag
Ulla Johnson
At long last, Ulla Johnson—everyone’s favorite purveyor of modern bohemian fare—has introduced a full collection of handbags. Made in Italy from high-quality leather and hand-hammered brass hardware crafted by artisans in Kenya, they combine the designer’s relaxed sensibility with a polished back-to-basics approach. That isn’t to say that this Genevieve crossbody is basic—sure, it expands conveniently, thanks to a three-flap design, and will certainly hold all of one’s essentials, but it retains that “I bought this on vacation in Majorca” vibe. Until we can get there once again, this will do nicely. ($495, ullajohnson.com)
The Watch
Hermès
With its newest version of the Nantucket timepiece, Hermès has combined the very best of jewelry and wristwatches. This rose-gold beauty has a delicate chain, and an opaline silvered dial that faintly glimmers in the light. It’s dressy enough to wear in the evening but perfectly suited for everyday use as well. Buy now, and enjoy it for generations. (There’s also a version that’s surrounded by pavé diamonds … ) ($10,275; hermes.com)
The Dress
A.P.C. x Sacai
Two favorite brands in one place? Sometimes, the universe is just too generous. Jean Touitou’s A.P.C. has just unveiled a collaboration with Chitose Abe’s Sacai, and the results are irresistible. We’re especially charmed by the avant-garde Keiko dress. Made of two different types of Japanese denim, it buttons up smartly, but it’s a bit bloused at the waist. The breakaway skirt closes with a drawstring, and thanks to two metal buckles, it’s fully adjustable. An entire outfit in just one easy piece? There is a god. Two of them, in fact. ($550, apc-us.com)
