The Sweater

Cecilie Bahnsen

For years now, we’ve admired this Danish designer’s work from afar. But while her fabrics and tailoring are beautiful, her elaborate silhouettes can be tricky for everyday wear. Her new knits, however, are elevating our weekend style to glorious effect. Take the Franki sweater, which captures Bahnsen’s romantic sensibilities but is simple enough to wear anytime. Made of ribbed cotton and patched together with floral and flocked pieces, it has an ever so slightly scalloped edge and cozy turtleneck. Enjoy it with jeans or slouchy pants, and pair with a soft silk skirt in more temperate times. ($906, matchesfashion.com)

The Ring

Ferian

When signet rings and cameos collide, the results can be irresistible. Take this beauty from Ferian, which was handmade in Hatton Garden, London’s historic jewelry district. Made of nine-karat gold and finished with a vintage Wedgwood jasperware cameo, its bold, equine design stands out from the delicate bands that are ubiquitous these days. Valentine’s Day is just a few weeks away—or it might simply be time to show yourself a little love. ($730, matchesfashion.com)

The Pants

Another Tomorrow

After decades of searching for the perfect pants, we have finally settled on the new ethically minded brand Another Tomorrow as one of our go-to purveyors. First and foremost, the silhouettes are fuss-free, and even their most trend-driven pieces, such as these Paper Bag pleated trousers, are designed with functionality and utility in mind. Made in Italy from organic linen that was sustainably woven and dyed, they are available in the always classic black, but the warm Tobacco shade is especially fresh. If you’re hemming and hawing over the length, each pair comes with two extra inches of hem, so a tailor can fit them to your measurements. ($520, anothertomorrow.co)

The Collab

The North Face x Gucci

There are few collaborations that strum the heartstrings quite like the new North Face x Gucci collection. Coats, shoes, boots, scarves, hats—it’s all there, and it’s all out to empty one’s bank account. While we’re tempted by the hiking boots, it’s this water-resistant nylon windbreaker that has proved impossible to resist. Despite its delicate rose print, it comes complete with strapped cuffs and a drawstring hood with a visor flap, so that it’s just as functional as possible. In a spring where our sole excursions are likely to be walking and hiking, it’s a sound, and stylish, investment. ($1,800; gucci.com)
