We first discovered Dôen, the dreamy purveyor of faintly romantic California-wear, through Instagram, where the brand is very much A Thing. Still, these well-priced and easy-to-wear pieces are often impossible to resist. Case in point: the Laurel dress, which draws inspiration from the functional frocks of the 30s. Made from a lightweight cotton blend, its full-coverage, highly flattering silhouette is just the thing for wandering around the house—in style. “But we only just met!” you say. And yet here we are, discussing our underpinnings in great detail. Forgive us: we’ve been buying underwear for more than 20 years now, and have never been this excited by a purchase. These high-waisted, ribbed seamless briefs that hold us in, lift us up, and do not make us cringe have rocked our world. Les Girls Les Boys is the newish brand from Serena Rees, who originally founded Agent Provocateur back in the 90s.
