Richard Quinn’s colorful sensibilities are on full display in his new collection for Moncler Genius.

In the four years since native Londoner Richard Quinn graduated from Central Saint Martins, the women’s-wear designer has been presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design by the monarch herself, dressed Amal Clooney for the Met Gala, and opened up a screen-printing studio in Peckham. On Thursday, this “It Brit” unveiled a new collection for Moncler Genius to the delight of maximalists everywhere. As usual in Quinn-land, florals abound, and they’re put to good use in 60s-era trapeze dresses and prim, embellished coats. (Those in search of something more opulent mustn’t miss the couture gowns, fluffed out with dramatic opera skirts that are guaranteed to keep everyone at least six feet apart.) Whether at work or at play, Quinn’s sensibilities trend toward the eclectic and unexpected, ensuring that his version of the good life is entirely his own. —Ashley Baker

As a designer in pursuit of perfection, Quinn’s best advice? “Move on.”
