In the four years since native Londoner Richard Quinn graduated from Central Saint Martins, the women’s-wear designer has been presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design by the monarch herself, dressed Amal Clooney for the Met Gala, and opened up a screen-printing studio in Peckham. On Thursday, this “It Brit” unveiled a new collection for Moncler Genius to the delight of maximalists everywhere. As usual in Quinn-land, florals abound, and they’re put to good use in 60s-era trapeze dresses and prim, embellished coats. (Those in search of something more opulent mustn’t miss the couture gowns, fluffed out with dramatic opera skirts that are guaranteed to keep everyone at least six feet apart.)
