Hermès lipstick

Having effectively mastered leather goods, ready-to-wear, and fragrance, Hermès has now added another product category to its arsenal with the launch of Hermès Beauty. The brand’s first entrée into cosmetics is a collection of lipsticks called Rouge Hermès, comprising 24 shades inspired by the colors found in silk and leather. The refillable tube, made of hand-assembled metal, was designed by Pierre Hardy, the brand’s creative director of jewelry and shoes, while the rich, moisturizing formula was devised by Jérôme Touron, creative director of Hermès Beauty. Although it arrived in stores only this past week, several shades have already sold out. But fear not—every six months, a new product will be revealed until the entire collection is complete. Pajamas

Perhaps you’ve noticed that we have a thing for piped pajamas. Honna, founded by stylist Barbara McMillan, makes some especially smart ones these days. Totally cotton, and piped in navy (or dark red, if you prefer), the ever so slightly cropped trousers have an elastic waist, while the roomy top is finished with mother-of-pearl buttons. Comfort is top of mind, but fit is not an afterthought. The sets make for an especially elegant yet relaxed Saturday morning spent in bed with the latest edition of Air Mail. ($117, honnalondon.com)

Totême Top

Totême’s best-of-both-worlds Arradon top offers up very exciting styling possibilities—with a jacket and jeans, underneath a suit, over a long, pleated skirt. Best of all, it’s made of a rayon-nylon blend and is, therefore, happily seasonless, destined for wintry days and summer evenings alike. ($360, matchesfashion.com)

BITE Studios

BITE Studios is not nearly as aggressive as it sounds—the brand’s name stands for By Independent Thinkers for Environmental Progress. It’s the brainchild of a group of London- and Stockholm-based creative directors who work exclusively with natural, organic, low-impact materials, all rendered in meticulously tailored garments that are intended to last season after season. We have our eye on at least 64 percent of the brand’s latest collection, but this ombré plissé-chiffon midi skirt already occupies a happy corner in our closet. Ideal with a black turtleneck, tee, or tank, it will transition beautifully into spring, and then summer, and then fall … ($575, net-a-porter.com)
