Michael Kors has been wrapping some of the world’s most stylish women in cashmere, jersey, and double-faced wool since his first runway collection debuted, in 1984. Nearly 40 years on, his reputation as the grand homme of luxurious American sportswear remains virtually unchallenged. On Wednesday, the designer unveiled his highly polished fall 2020 collection at the American Stock Exchange; expect to be wearing a lot of blanket plaids, paisleys, and cross-body bags next season. As ever, he has an innate appreciation for the elements of a stylish life. —Ashley Baker
