Though Enzo passed away in the late 80s, his spirit very much lives on in his eponymous restaurant, where a portrait of him hangs on a dining room wall. The place is still as Enzo always envisioned it, characterised by high-quality ingredients, fast service, and light, home-spun flavors. The tables are close together, and the space is small. Don’t miss the Roman classics—carbonara, cacio e pepe, amatriciana, and gricia pastas. You’ll probably have to wait a half-hour or so for your table, but it’s worth the wait. —Elena Clavarino
