While its sister hotel, the Hotel de Russie (also from the Rocco Forte Hotel Group) is far better known, visitors should consider opting for its younger sibling, Hotel de la Ville, which feels a little more hip and fun. The hotel opened to much fanfare in 2019, and is housed in an 18th-century palazzo at the very top of the Spanish Steps. If you can, book the Suite De La Ville, on the eighth floor. It’s accessed by a private elevator, and has its own dining room and two terraces. The art collection won’t disappoint, either. —Elena Clavarino
