In 2003, the dancer and playwright Jonzi D created Breakin’ Convention, a group that blends hip-hop and theater. Twenty years later, the group has gone from performing in London to touring the world. To celebrate the group’s two decades of dancing, Breakin’ Convention is staging Unbreakable, a show by the Soweto Skeleton Movers. Known for blending pantsula (quick steps) with house dance and contortionism, the Movers tell the story of Soweto, their small South African town. —Jensen Davis
