A singular creative force, Michèle Lamy is as known for her partnership with her husband, fashion designer Rick Owens, as she is for her distinctive personal style, defined by gold teeth and henna-covered fingers, a ring from her Hunrod jewelry collection on each one. Lamy is a co-founder and the managing director of art and furniture at Owenscorp. Born in France, she studied philosophy and practiced law before moving to Los Angeles in 1979, where she ran the influential restaurant Les Deux Cafes and had her own clothing line, Lamy.
