Taquería Gabriel has a simple slogan: “Delicious tacos, cold beer.” Both are true. Their menu, which is bigger than Orinoco’s, includes burritos, shrimp tacos, and volcanes, lightly fried tortillas topped with melted cheese and a protein of your choice. And unlike old-school taquerías, here you can choose between homemade flour and corn tortillas—or, as I’d suggest, at least one of each. Make sure to try their mushroom tacos, too. —Jensen Davis
