This French brasserie, just off the main entrance of the Wythe Hotel, is my go-to office lunch spot. You could say it’s “where the cool kids go”—the ambiance is Parisian meets Brooklyn chic. But interiors aside, Executive Chefs Jake Leiber and Aidan O’Neal, who have been partners for years, spared not an ounce of consideration for the menu. They brilliantly pulled inspiration from classic French and American dishes in a no-frills kind of way. The mushroom paté, leeks with vinaigrette and hazelnuts, and steak frites au poivre are to die for. They also just introduced a new club chicken sandwich dubbed Le Club, which is served during lunch hours. Oh, and if you have time, definitely head up to their rooftop bar, Bar Blondeau. —Vanessa von Bismarck
