Not unlike Peacock’s recent breakout show All Her Fault, which follows the disappearance of a five-year-old boy and stars Sarah Snook, Little Disasters revolves around a child that’s been mysteriously harmed. Based on Sarah Vaughan’s book of the same name, the six-part whodunit stars Diane Kruger as the seemingly perfect mother, Jess. Everything changes when her 10-month-old child is brought to the emergency room with a head injury. Jo Joyner plays Jess’s friend, Liz, who also happens to be the E.R. doctor on duty that night—and is forced to report the incident to child services. —Paulina Prosnitz
