For most fans of Curb Your Enthusiasm, any rumored plot developments or hinted spoilers to Season 12 don’t really matter. Sure, the snowballing narratives are fun, and to see open threads tied off nicely in what has been advertised as its final season shouldn’t upset anyone (though keep in mind that in the past the show has taken a hiatus and then re-started). The reason so many have followed Curb Your Enthusiasm for so long is summed up in two words: Larry David. If David appears onscreen in each of the forthcoming episodes—which he will—Season 12 will be just as sardonic, hilarious, and enjoyable as the previous 11. This is not to say that David’s supporting cast doesn’t pull its weight. It does. And thankfully Leon (J. B. Smoove), Cheryl (Cheryl Hines), and Jeff (Jeff Garlin) are reprising their roles as co-conspirators in David’s endless struggles and skirmishes against the annoyances of everyday existence. —Jack Sullivan
