Mark Cross
Rear Window Overnight Case in Black
Editor’s Notes:
In 1954, Alfred Hitchcock called on Gerald Murphy to design an overnight case for Grace Kelly’s character in “Rear Window”. This top handle case is the exact design featured in the film and continues to be one of Mark Cross’ most sought-after items.
Mark Cross was established in Boston in 1845 by Henry W. Cross to create the finest leather goods for the horse and buggy rider, expanding to include luggage and accessories by 1934. The brand was re-established in 2011 and now produces pieces in the same Italian ateliers as the celebrated originals. The current collections are inspired by the extensive Mark Cross archives, a dedication to fine craftsmanship and excellent leathers, devoid of excess hardware and logos.
