Anderson & Sheppard: A Style Is Born
Editor’s Notes:
In October 2011, Savile Row tailors Anderson & Sheppard released their first book, Anderson & Sheppard: A Style Is Born, published by Quercus Books. Curated by Vanity Fair editors Graydon Carter and Cullen Murphy, the 296-page large-format volume offers a rich visual and narrative history of the firm. It features full-color photography by Jonathan Becker and Christopher Simon Sykes, original watercolor illustrations by Paul Cox, and text by writer David Kamp.
Anderson & Sheppard Haberdashery specialises in outfitting men when they are not wearing suits. They source their wool and cashmere from the finest mills in England and Scotland. AIR MAIL has collaborated with the brand on a work jacket style made to Graydon Carter’s specifications for year-round wear.
