- Wipe the inside with a cloth dampened in distilled water and let it sit closed for 12–24 hours to stabilize humidity
- Refill the humidifier with distilled water or propylene glycol when humidity drops
- Keep humidity at 65–70% by checking the hygrometer regularly to maintain ideal cigar conditions
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Keep the cedar interior dry
- Avoid direct sunlight and heat to protect the finish and maintain humidity
