Sarah Bonello spent years shaping the image of other people’s brands—at W, at Women’s Wear Daily, and later at the boutique PR firm FGPR, which she co-founded, before turning that editorial eye inward. The result is The Park, a New York label built around the parts of a wardrobe that rarely take center stage but end up carrying the whole performance. The pieces that anchor everything else. The ones that make a jacket sit right and an outfit look finished rather than assembled. Now in its second year, the brand has quietly found its audience among women who understand that the success of a wardrobe often depends on the elements doing the quiet work behind the scenes. Bonello, a lifelong fashion collector and F.I.T. Foundation board member, approaches a closet the way a seasoned editor approaches a page: structure first, excess removed. For AIR SUPPLY, she selects accordingly—the supporting cast of a strong wardrobe, the pieces that make the headliners shine
