Most visitors to Milan would likely dismiss its Asian food, but, as it turns out, Italians can do ramen. That very phrase is printed on the walls of this small restaurant on a quiet corner of Isola, an up-and-coming neighborhood home to a young, hipster crowd. The ramen comes with pork, chicken, fish, vegetables, or shellfish. All are worthy. It also has a small appetizer menu with particularly delicious pork bao buns. Dish sizes are smaller than those you’d be accustomed to in London or New York, so you can order a few appetizers before your main. Italians know there’s no need for all that extra sodium. —Ludovico Bonaccorsi
