Ottilia Giacometti, sister of the artist Alberto Giacometti, died while giving birth to her son, Silvio. She was only 33 years old. From childhood on, Ottilia served as a muse to her parents, Giovanni and Annetta, who lovingly made sculptures, paintings, and drawings of her as she grew to womanhood. For the Kunsthaus’s reopening, this survey celebrates Ottillia’s life, placing 60 of these works on display. There will also be portraits of Silvio, the son she never met. —E.C.
