“I see life as a passageway, with no fixed beginning or destination,” the Korean artist Do Ho Suh said in 2017. “We tend to focus on the destination all the time and forget about the in-between spaces.” Suh recreates those transitory rooms and passages by cladding fine steel frames with transparent polyester to create ghost houses in a single bright color. He also creates thread drawings, architectural rubbings, and watercolors that explore similar themes. In this major exhibition, through videos, drawings, sculptures, and his signature installations, Suh addresses the question: Is home a place, a feeling, an idea, or a haunt? —Elena Clavarino
