In the 1993 hit comedy Groundhog Day, Bill Murray stars as Phil Connors, a cynical and beleaguered weatherman who begrudgingly covers his town’s annual Groundhog Day event. Unfortunately for him, he gets stuck in a time loop that has him reliving the day over and over and over again. In 2016, Danny Rubin adapted his screenplay into a musical, which premiered at the Old Vic and went on to win two Laurence Olivier Awards (Best New Musical and Best Actor). The show is back at the Old Vic, and Andy Karl reprises his role as Phil. —Jensen Davis
