As Bladee, Benjamin Reichwald makes twitchy, kinetic rap music. As Varg²™, Jonas Rönnberg makes techno tinged with jungle and hyperpop. Reichwald is a member of the Swedish music collective Drain Gang, a kind of Scandi answer to PC Music or Gothboiclique, and Rönnberg is a frequent collaborator. Reichwald and Rönnberg are also visual artists who traffic in maximalism, taking the canvas and chopping it, screwing it with lacquer glaze and acrylic paint. The two are presenting their first collaborative exhibition, “Fucked For Life,” at the Hole in Tribeca. It features a new body of work for these two artists: a collection of mischievous, slightly satanic psychedelic paintings. —Sophie Kemp
