The Scandinavian duo Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset are the men who brainstormed the “installed sculpture” Prada Marfa—a wildly out-of-place and non-functioning Prada boutique built in an empty stretch of southwest Texas—and Van Gogh’s Ear, the upright swimming pool that stood at Rockefeller Plaza in 2016. The duo is now taking over the Pompidou-Metz’s Grand Nef, Forum, and one of its rooftop galleries for almost a year. The exhibition is called “Bonne Chance” and consists of site-specific sculptures that may or may not connect to form a narrative. It’s up to the viewer to piece it together. —Elena Clavarino
