Andy Warhol needs no introduction. The man was prolific. He continuously changed his focus during his 40-year career, moving from drawings to Pop silkscreen paintings of celebrities and consumer products, to photographs and video work. In terms of cultural currency, he’s still the coin of the realm. It should come as no surprise that Warhol influenced both contemporaries and successors: Jean-Michel Basquiat, Takashi Murakami, Richard Prince, and Zen Fanzhi, to name a few. This exhibition in Hong Kong juxtaposes Warhol paintings, photos, and films with pieces by the artists he’s inspired. —Jeanne Malle
