Pointy Snout
White Sturgeon Caviar Supreme
Editor’s Notes:
Avancé Supreme is a complex and richly-nuanced journey into authentic caviar. Rare and uniquely delicious. Sustainably farmed in Idaho, Avancé is produced from the roe of White Sturgeon, a species native to the Pacific Northwest. Aged at least 90 days, it has a sweet and fresh fragrance, and a taste that is rich and lasting, yolky and delicate.
Pointy Snout is an audacious reinvention of a venerable luxury; the go-to brand for transparency and responsibility: caviar unbridled from pomp and rhetoric and with a modern conscience.
Available sizes: 50g, 100g, 200g, 500g, 1kg
- Texture and Color: Firm texture with amber to light grey beads
- Aroma: A surprising waft of semi-sweet richness
- Taste: The closest to Ossetra in its bold, hazel-nutty flavor
- Finish: A pleasant blend of brine and mystery lingers
The only ingredients in Pointy Snout’s caviar are responsibly farmed sturgeon roe and salt. As such, it’s highly perishable. When you receive your caviar, immediately take it out of the shipping container and store it in the coldest part of your refrigerator—generally in the back—at a temperature of 28º - 35º F. Unopened, it will stay fresh for up to 4 weeks.
Pointy Snout recommends consuming it immediately—tout suite. To serve, take the tin out of the refrigerator 30 minutes ahead. Do not open the lid until a few minutes before actually serving. If you don’t finish the caviar, place Saran wrap gently over the surface of the eggs and close the lid firmly. For extra care, completely wrap the whole tin with plastic wrap, and again store in the coldest part of the refrigerator. If you take these steps, you can safely keep the caviar for another 1-2 days. Please note, however, that once a tin has been opened, the flavor begins to deteriorate. Never freeze caviar, whether in or out of the tin.
Orders will be sent directly by the brand. Expect to receive a confirmation e-mail with tracking details as soon as your order has shipped. Thank you.
