Attersee
The Hand Pleated Skirt
Editor’s Notes:
The Hand Pleated Skirt from Attersee walks the line between softness and structure with quiet precision. Crafted from crisp cotton poplin, it features delicate hand-pleated folds that fan out from the waist, creating subtle volume without overwhelming the silhouette. The fit is fluid, the movement effortless—equally at home with a silk blouse or a worn-in tee. Understated, architectural, and endlessly wearable.
Founded in 2021 by former editor Isabel Wilkinson Schor, New York-based Attersee is named for an Austrian lake where Gustav Klimt was known to have spent his summers. Inspired by creative intellectualism, Attersee’s collections are defined by classic elegance with a touch of the unusual, and an emphasis on sumptuous fabrics, like duchesse satin, silk-cashmere and cotton-linen.
