Patrick McGrath’s Favorite Things

Patrick McGrath’s career began at Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani, which explains a lot—the precision, the restraint, the understanding that luxury is felt before it’s seen. In 2015 he founded his namesake design studio, and this year opened a gallery in Manhattan’s Cable Building, showing antiques and ancient objects alongside collaborations with Bruce Weber and Francisco Costa of COSTA Brazil. This April, the gallery moves to a new space in NoHo. For AIR SUPPLY, he applies the same logic he brings to every room: nothing without intention, nothing without history
