My Favorite Things

With its editorial edge and moreish aesthetic, the wellness platform Bonberi suggests a sharp creative team behind the scenes. Enter Nicole Berrie—the brand’s founder, recipe developer, and frontwoman—who began her career working at ELLE and then Vanity Fair, where she helped book some of the magazine’s most notable covers. Bonberi.com began as a way for Berrie to connect her journalism background with a love for delicious, healthful eating, and she later opened Bonberi Mart, a plant-based corner store in the West Village. Today, the brand counts the likes of Ilana Glazer, Abbi Jacobson, and Hilary Rhoda among its many fans. Herewith, Berrie, whose new book, Body Harmony, comes out this week, reveals the items that have her immediate attention

Marfa Stance

$1,095

Reversible Cropped Quilt Jacket

“Some people love a statement bag or shoe, but I’m a statement-jacket person. I love this cropped version of their classic quilt, the perfect transitional weather piece.”

Ondyn

$11,000

Tennis Necklace

“I have recently been lusting over a tennis necklace but am drawn to pieces that are slightly different. I love designer Tara Maria Famiglietti’s subtle spin on the classic piece. It is the definition of a classic piece I would love to pass down to my daughter.”

Furtuna

$285

Skin Visione Di Luce Eye Revitalizing Cream

“Clean skincare has come a long way from one aisle in your local health food store. Furtuna harvests ingredients from their own farm in Sicily. It feels super luxurious on the skin but is also super gentle and effective.”

Saie

$35

Tinted Moisturizer

“I only use non-toxic skincare and makeup. This glides on perfectly and is the exact clean dupe to a popular tinted moisturizer I had used since middle school.”

Hill House Home

$95

Men’s Hotel Bathrobe

“Our whole family has one of their robes but I am always stealing my husband’s large one because it feels like I took a shower and put on an oversized hotel robe while on vacation, which is arguably the best feeling.”

TSW

$58

Lemongrass Balm

“When our son Jude was little, he suffered from eczema and we searched far and wide for natural remedies. This cream was created by a mother, who had similar issues, and we still use it to this day. We love the lemongrass scent and buy it in bulk.”

HigherDose

$600

Infrared Sauna Blanket

“This sauna blanket became my lockdown all-star two years ago, and I still use it when I can’t get to the gym or am craving a good deep sweat. It is truly magic.”

Breville

$350

Toaster Oven

“At the risk of sounding like RHONY Sonja Morgan, I think the toaster oven is my most important appliance in the kitchen, next to my juicer and blender. We use it for everything from vegetables, to tortilla pizzas for the kids, to caramelized Japanese yams—and yes, even toast.”

Breville

$280

Juice Fountain Cold Plus

“The number one wellness appliance, in my opinion, is a good juicer. This is the juicer I’ve owned for over a decade and is what I use to make a daily green juice for me and my kids. It’s fast, efficient, and easy to clean. We even take it on road trips, to my husband’s chagrin.”

Le Creuset

$440

Signature Round Dutch Oven

“A good-quality Dutch oven is one of the top three investments any well-appointed kitchen should have. I cook everything from soups to stews to pasta and stir-fries in it, and it ages beautifully. I also prefer a fun color like red or orange.”
