At the age of nine, Jean Pigozzi received his first Leica as a gift from his father. Over the following six decades, the Paris-born Italian art collector and bon vivant has rarely been without a pocket-sized point-and-shoot, which he’s turned to time and again to capture intimate snapshots of everyone from Anjelica Huston and Isabella Rossellini at the Cannes Film Festival to Mick Jagger and Elizabeth Taylor poolside at Villa Dorane, his family home in Cap d’Antibes.
