Founded in 1974, the annual Winnipeg Folk Festival attracts nearly 70,000 attendees with its stellar and eclectic lineups, from new acts like The Shins and Kasey Musgraves, to classics like Bruce Cockburn and Big Dave Mclean. Though the campgrounds that usually host the event are closed this summer, the 47th show will go on virtually, streaming performances from Sheryl Crow, Courtney Barnett, and more. —C.J.F.
