At age 15, Heidi Schrenk was making evangelically positive speeches about the U.S. Constitution, which she called “the greatest piece of political writing in the world.” Her mostly one-person show has roots in that experience. Through the years, however, the Constitution’s vagueries and omissions caught up with Schrenk. The resulting play is witty, searching, personal, and powerful. —L.J.
