In celebration of the de Young museum’s 125th anniversary, works by 762 artists from nine Bay Area counties have been brought together. The selection was juried and the art is hanging “salon style”—floor to ceiling, edge to edge. The de Young Open is a show of support for local talent. Consequently, if exhibiting artists sell their pieces they will keep 100 percent of the proceeds. —E.C.
