Bridget Riley’s painting of summery stripes whispers to a somber steel-and-porcelain triptych by Edmund de Waal. Julian Schnabel’s vibrant, loosely-layered painting Untitled shares a room with Jeff Elrod’s To be titled—both employing inkjet techniques and suggesting urban speed. Meanwhile, Albert Oehlen has envisioned a sheep and a burro climbing a beet-red pig. Add in work by Thomas Struth, William Copley, Günther Förg, Sigmar Polke, and Giulia Andreani, and you have a summer show. —E.C.
