Shakespeare’s Globe is committed to bringing the bard’s best words to those in isolation, having recently announced the release of six productions online for free. Rotating every two weeks, the programming includes Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Two Noble Kinsmen, The Winter’s Tale, and The Merry Wives of Windsor. An additional 130 filmed productions will be made available on Globe Player, the Globe’s on-demand service, including stalwart performances from Mark Rylance and Stephen Fry, and behind-the-scenes interviews with Judi Dench and Ewan McGregor. —B.A.
