You’ve seen them. A Roger Dean image is instantly recognizable. The British artist and designer has sold over 150 million copies of his images worldwide. He’s the man who dreamed up the Sea Urchin Chair (1966)—now in the Victoria & Albert Museum’s permanent collection—and who created the logos for Virgin Records, Tetris, and classic rock bands. He’s influenced Disney, and movies such as Star Wars and Avatar. Trading Boundaries is the only gallery that represents Dean. In its collection, rarely seen paintings and limited-edition prints are among the works on display. —E.C.
