PURE—Made in New York: A Celebration of a Sculpture Studio

An exhibition view of “PURE—Made in New York: A Celebration of a Sculpture Studio.”

Until Sept 21
2750 Route De La Cride, 13610 Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade, France

Ralph Pucci is marking two major anniversaries this year. The first celebrates 70 years since his parents, Nick and Lee Pucci, launched their mannequin repair business in the basement of their home in Mount Vernon, New York. The second honors 50 years since Ralph joined the family business, which he quickly transformed into a sculpture and furniture studio. Based in Manhattan, the studio has since represented notable artists such as Andrée Putman, Patrick Naggar, and Elizabeth Garouste, patented an innovative material called Plasterglass, and passed its legacy on to Ralph’s children, Michael and Nicole. To commemorate the company’s rich history, this exhibition presents an all-white collection of Plasterglass pieces, from lighting to seating to tables, created by 13 Pucci designers. All works are available for purchase. —Jeanne Malle
