Printmaker and installation artist Katrina Andry, who’s made racial stereotyping her subject, has recently begun to analyze how negative ideologies are sustained within our power structures: public education, the justice system, and the economy. In Charleston, as gentrification displaces minority populations, Andry looks at the unjust racial assumptions that lead to unjust housing conditions. —C.J.F.
