Last February, NOMAD unveiled a winter show at Grace la Margna, a restored Art Nouveau hotel nestled among the Engadin mountains, in the center of ritzy Saint Moritz. This summer, NOMAD comes back to Capri after last year’s run at the Certosa di San Giacomo. Conceived by Giorgio Pace and Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte, NOMAD first took place at Villa La Vigie in Monaco, Karl Lagerfeld’s former home, and later expanded to Venice, Cannes, Saint Moritz, and Capri. Instead of gatherings in cold convention centers, NOMAD chooses something cozier—historical spots that resemble homes. Here in Capri, amid the vaulted rooms, cloisters, and gardens, are works from galleries such as Milan’s Nilufar, New York’s Friedman Benda, and Studio Trisorio, in Naples. —Elena Clavarino
