It’s time for couture en pointe at the New York City Ballet. The company’s 2022 Fall Fashion Gala sees the premiere of two new works: the pairings are Kyle Abraham and designer Giles Deacon (the duo who teamed up for The Runaway in 2018), and Gianna Reisen and designer Alejandro Gómez Palomo (the score is a new commission by Solange Knowles). Also featured is the first live performance of Justin Peck’s Solo, with new costumes by Raf Simons. The evening begins with an excerpt from George Balanchine’s always dazzling and forever fashionable Symphony in C. This program, titled “Classic NYCB II,” is repeated on October 1, 8, 11, and 16. —Laura Jacobs
