Though many don’t know it, the Van Gogh Museum doesn’t just display works by Vincent Van Gogh. Over the last few years, the museum has amassed art by other formidable artists, including Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Edvard Munch, Félix Vallotton, and Claude Monet. It has also collected work by lesser known figures, such as Henri-Charles Guérard. Acquired over the last decade, these paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints play a pivotal role in the museum’s identity. —E.C.
