Arnold and Jerry are half-brothers. Long estranged by physical distance and old wounds, they have little in common. Then their mother falls ill. They reunite to care for her, one leaving behind a big city and the other a small town in Idaho. Revisiting old memories, they begin to navigate the challenges of forgiveness. Brian J. Smith and Paul Sparks star in the premiere production of Samuel Hunter’s two-man play Grangeville, directed by Jack Serio. “It’s really about these two guys sorting through the detritus of their very complicated past,” Hunter told Inland 360, “and how we define people based on their past actions.” —Jeanne Malle
