Orientalism is a multicultural hot button these days, and artists who never heard of the word are caught in the backlash. Antoni Fabrés, the Catalan sculptor and painter (1854–1938), is one of these. He is grouped with Mariano Fortuny, who never suffers the stigma of Orientalism, probably because too many people want his fabrics, pleated dresses, and light fixtures. This exhibition gives Fabrés a deserved spotlight, without p.c. judgment. —L.J.
